Official: Real Betis sign Nabil Fekir

Real Betis have completed the signing of Nabil Fekir from Lyon in one of the deals of the summer window.
The 26-year-old, who won the World Cup with France in 2018, has signed a five-year deal at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.
Fekir was Betis' first-choice target to replacing the outgoing Giovani Lo Celso, who has asked to leave the club.

The midfielder had just one year left on his contract at Lyon, giving Betis a considerable advantage in negotiations for a transfer fee.
Lyon wanted to make some money off him this summer before he left for free next year and had offered him to the likes of Sevilla and Valencia.
Napoli were also linked with the player recently, but it's Betis who have finalised a deal which will see him become one of the key men in Rubi's new project.
